Sebastien Raybaud’s production, finance and sales house Anton has picked up worldwide sales rights to music documentary “Laurent Garnier: Off the Record,” and is presenting the project to buyers at the American Film Market.

On the heels of its North American deal to Screen Media, the film has sold to France with Condor Distribution. Pic is slated for a 2020 release with a premium digital strategy. Sales firm Arri has also newly sold the film to Suraya for Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei and Myanmar. Previous deals include Japan (Klockworx), Russia (Nashe Kino), Middle East (Salim Ramia) and South Korea (Company L).

From 15 August, Alice Hamilton will direct Eugene O'Hare's 'The Weatherman' which follows Beezer and O'Rourke who live on the fringes of society in a dingy London flat, struggling to make ends meet. Mark Hadfield will feature as part of the cast. This is the first play produced by Featuristic Stage with Park Theatre, Anthology Theatre and Eilene Davidson.

SCREEN INTERNATIONAL: Films Distribution has acquired world sales on The Royal Exchange, inspired by a plan to marry off France’s Louis XV to the oldest daughter of the King of Spain, Maria Anna Victoria, who was four-years-old at the time. It is the latest film by historical writer and director Marc Dugain – best known for An Ordinary Execution and The Curse of Edgar.
